After more than three rewarding years with AboutFace, I am writing to share that I will be stepping down from my role as Co-Executive Director and Program Manager. It has been a true honor to be part of such an inspiring organization and to work alongside so many dedicated volunteers, stakeholders, board members, and community members.
I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve accomplished together to support individuals with facial differences, and I’m confident that the organization will continue to grow and thrive in the future. The commitment and passion of everyone involved have made my time with AboutFace truly fulfilling.
As I move on to new opportunities, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to the success of AboutFace. To the volunteers, board members, stakeholders and allies, and most importantly, the community members—thank you for your trust, collaboration, and support.
While I am excited for the next chapter in my journey, I will forever cherish the moments and relationships that have made my time with AboutFace so special. I wish nothing but the very best for the community, and I am confident that the future is bright for AboutFace and all who are part of it.
I wish the entire AboutFace community all the best in the years ahead and look forward to seeing the continued impact of this incredible organization.
With appreciation & best wishes,
Adriana (Lombardo) Fernandez
