Hello you two. Have you considered coming to join the adult retreat in June. I coordinate the event on behalf of AboutFace. I have Birthmark that covers the right side of my face. Last year was the first year we hosted it. It was a great to have a little vacation in the Muskoka's, but more importantly its a fantastic opportunity to meet some new people who can truly relate to the struggles we all face. As much as we all had a chance to vent the experience was not negative it remained quite positive. This group accepts everyone regardless of their appearance. Randy that sounds great! Only if I live closer I'm in the U.S , What part of Canada is the event held at? Is it near Niagra falls ?

hi, sorry i didnt see this post earlier! the adult retreat was awesome! yes it is held in Ontario up in Muskoka and we had a US adult join us this year.

We also have the monthly adult calls - its free even from the US. call the AF office for log in info or visit our website.

maybe you will consider the retreat next year! its held every June.
